This mural is a collaborative piece with 4-6 grade students at Shaler Area Elementary. It is based on a reading program where the goal is to achieve 25 books and some over a million words. Each wall represents one of the three rivers and its communities. The material used is parachute cloth that is painted then adhered in a collage method.
